Willie Beamin:

Willie Beamin performed at the first hip-hop show ever held in Prescott, AZ. With no entourage, backup dancers or even a hype man, he took the stage in front of hundreds and gave the people an unforgettable show. The crowd had never heard of his music before let alone heard of him, but got a response from them as if he were their all time favorite artist. This solo hip-hop artist has a certain vibe he gives through his music and style; a decorum of a contradictory balance between a youthful maturity and arrogant humbleness. Lyrical punch lines reminiscent of Big L with a Jay-z influence his confident delivery is aggressive at times but sonically inviting. Through clever hooks and hot beats that compliment his concepts, he gives a great show the ladies love and guys equally enjoy. He mentally composes most of his material, the rest are jotted notes randomly through text drafts on his cell until the inevitable accidental erasing of everything. Just short of making the beats himself he produces, mixes and records his own material. With plenty of musical knowledge, Recording Arts and Technology student, Ohio Center for Broadcasting graduate, former Radio-One Cleveland intern and employee of 5 years and producer of dozens of radio ready songs and commercials. From getting radio spins literally everyday for 3 years straight on the most popular radio station in north east Ohio Z107.9. To even collaborating with internationally platinum artist. He isn’t looking for the commercial pop sound. He’s going for an authentic rap/hip-hop style that will lead to a cross over into mainstream. He’s been working on his current project ‘Third String’ since January of 2010. Slated to debut in summer 2010 he promises to bring the freshness of his music that people love along with his word play and lyrical talent. He’s definitely outside the cookie cutter pop sound constantly broadcasted. He says he will always give the unique authenticity to his music for the people to enjoy, not just for right now but for years to come.
